Tips for Holding a Meeting in Victoria

  • Incorporate local ingredients and seasonal products in your meeting’s menus.
  • Think “green” when ordering promotional giveaway items and direct your vendors to use products made from post-consumer waste
  • Encourage delegates to walk to and from meeting sessions. Venues around Victoria’s picturesque downtown core are within easy walking distance of each other
  • Green teambuilding activities: The Green Team Eco-Challenge
  • Promote public transit usage to your members on your conference website. Attendees can use BC Transit to get to many Greater Victoria destinations.
